Welcome to the Aurora Chamber of Commerce. We're dedicated to strengthening, expanding and introducing a fresh approach to community events and area tourism. We hope this website can serve as your one-stop-shop to find out about event schedules, volunteer opportunities and ways to get involved in area groups. Go here to submit your event for approval or become a Chamber member to be listed in the area directory.
The Board of the Aurora Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to making sure Aurora and Hamilton County are "The Place You Want to Spend Time and Do Business."
With this NEW Vision comes a great deal of change. A NEW Mission, NEW Events, and a NEW Website. All of which will provide a more comprehensive view of events in the Aurora/Hamilton County Area.
The Aurora Chamber of Commerce invites you to watch our progress by visiting auroranebraska.com frequently. While you are here, feel free to submit an event for listing on our Hamilton County Events page.
HOW DO I USE A CHAMBER CHECK? Chamber Checks are accepted at any participating Chamber member business and spend like a personal check. You can spend a Chamber Check on products outlined by the business. For a full list of our members, visit our Business directory under the Chamber Members category.
Our Policy: • Chamber Checks are valid for 12 months from issue date • Chamber Checks cannot be re-issued past expiration • The Chamber is not responsible for lost or stolen Chamber Checks • Merchants can choose to give store credit if not redeemed for the full-face value of the Chamber Check. DO NOT EXCHANGE FOR CASH. HOW DOES A MERCHANT ACCEPT CHAMBER CHECKS AS PAYMENT? Chamber Checks looks like a check, but should be accepted like a personal check at your business. The checks are actual bank checks drawn locally through Pinnacle Bank.
• CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATE (if the check is expired, it should not be accepted; the Chamber is not responsible to re-issue or replace a check to a business if it was accepted when expired) • The merchant receiving the check may decide whether or not to issue store credit on a purchased item less than the face value of the check • The merchant deposits the check as cash for the full-face value of the check • The business MUST be a current Chamber member to accept chamber checks, banks will not accept checks from any businesses that are not a current chamber member (please call the Aurora Chamber of Commerce if you have questions about current Chamber status)
