Marni Danhauer

Marni is the owner of JoJo’s Gelato & Grill and also works for Central Community College. She was born and raised in Hamilton County and has lived here a total of 38 years.  She said she left briefly in the late 1980’s to attend college and then worked in Omaha, Denver and Kansas City before returning to live on a family acreage near Marquette in 1998. Her favorite things about Hamilton County are the downtown square in Aurora with the beautiful, historic courthouse and tree filled greenspace. She also loves Tooley and Bader parks along the river. When asked why she wanted to join the Chamber board she said, "I was excited to see the chamber board being reactivated in our community and understand the importance of volunteerism to make organizations such as the Chamber thrive.  As a new business owner, I saw it as a chance to give back to my community while also learning more about my community."
